Springfield Baptist Church has Ministries in Missions, Christian Education, Outreach, Youth and Children Ministries as well as Retirees Services. Kippie C. Brown, M. Div.
The Reverend Kippie C. Brown, is the Senior Pastor of the historical Springfield Baptist Church, downtown Greenville, South Carolina. His work is evident throughout the Upstate of South Carolina where he sits on the Urban League of the Upstate Board of Directors, he is an alumni of the Furman University Riley Institute Diversity Leadership Initiative and the Greenville Chamber’s Leadership Greenville. He is a recent graduate of the Greenville Health System Chaplaincy Program, where he served as a community pastor for individuals in need of spiritual guidance. On the state level, he serves as Co-Chair of the Young Pastors Division of SC Education and Missionary Convention and Staff Member of the SC Congress of Christian Education. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Tarsha Spears and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters Kyrah and Kennedy.
