Springfield Baptist Church


Springfield Baptist Church, organized by former slaves in 1867, seeks to reach people of all ages and social backgrounds in the Greenville, South Carolina area. Springfield Baptist Church has Ministries in Missions, Christian Education, Outreach, Youth and Children Ministries as well as Retirees Services. Springfield is active in the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., and contributes to Foreign Mission Programs. Each year a delegation is sent to the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.

The Springfield Baptist Church is a Christ-centered congregation moving forward to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We will give Service to all people, leading them to a closer personal relationship with Christ.

Every Sunday Morning Worship Service we have a Deaf Interpreter. The Deaf Ministry is a vital part of our outreach Ministries.
